Family Index
Our online family tree application has a built-in family index that has advanced search features so you can search by birth, death, notes, or places. It also contains special icons so you can easily see who has unlikely family information, as well as who in your file is attached to other files in your database. By having a person attached to multiple files, you can update the person from any of the files, seamlessly.

ourFamily•ology is loaded with tools to help make the process of building your family tree easy and enjoyable. We have a date calculator, a relationship calculator, and a tool to map your ancestors, descendents and living relatives. We also have tools to merge your files as well as merge people. You can even manage your locations by making mass updates so you don’t have to make updates to individual records. Our most unique tool, and only found through our online family tree application, is a source rating calculator. The source rating calculator helps you understand the rating of each of your sources, as well as a combined rating with up to three sources.

Collaborative Genealogy Research
We make it easy for your family to help you build your family tree. You can grant access to up to 5 contributors so they can add or edit information about a certain relative.

Contributors can only make changes to information they added, and are not able to edit another contributor’s added information. You can monitor who made what changes and additions through your file stats audit trail.

Source Management
Our online family tree application gives the user the ability to link a source, document, story, etc. to more than one family member with just a couple of clicks a great time saving feature. We also have a special icon so you can easily see who you linked the information to.

Published Tree
Easily share your information with family through a secure, invitation only, exclusive password protected integrated published tree!

Share your data by granting access to your published tree. Your guests will be able to see your family tree with all the documents, photos, facts, stories, etc., that you have made public information in your application. If you have information marked private, that fact, source, document or photo will not be shared. Your documents will be shared with appropriate family members and can also be shared through your unique photo/document albums, organized the way you want!

Views
Checkout our interactive family, descendant and pedigree views. We have enhanced this feature with the ability to see more family information than the traditional views you are accustomed to in other genealogy software programs.

Organization
We have many organization features to help you grow your online family tree and keep it neat and orderly. Have you ever done something and didn’t remember what you just did? You don’t have to worry any more. Our online family tree builder application tracks your changes where you can see them in a report at any time. Import and Export Documents and Files
Our online family tree builder uses standard family tree software programming file extensions. If you have .GED files, you can import as well as export your data. With our application, if you have added documents, letters, journals, stories, interviews, family books, medical records, military information, maps, photos, etc. they will automatically be part of your published website, as long as you have not marked the attachment as private. If you mark it as private, only you and your collaborative team will be able to view these documents.
