Tell a Friend Feature
Tell a friend feature allows subscribers and guests to send Emails letting their
friends and family know about ourFamily•ology. It also allows
subscribers and guests to send Emails notifying friends and family about newly added
content to a subscribers published site. It also allows a subscriber to send an
Email to invite a family member or guest to become a contributor to their private
application. When Emails are sent from ourFamily•ology, we may collect
the person’s name and Email address for purposes of sending promotional items
such as newsletters, surveys, or special offers being offered through
ourFamily•ology.
Your Database & Published Family Tree
Your personal and private information that you upload via GEDCOM files, or entered
on ourFamily•ology to your private application, will not be distributed
or sold to third party advertisers. Your data and information belongs to you. Access
to your data is restricted by password protection.
Subscription
All our orders are processed through a secure server that encrypts all your personal
information through Secure Socket Layer (“SSL”).
When signing up, we may ask you to provide some personal information that is gathered
to understand our customers and serve your needs in a more effective way. This information
will not be distributed to anyone outside of our marketing department. It is strictly
for our use to enhance program features. You can be assured the information will
not be distributed or sold to third party advertisers.
Newsletters & Surveys
From time to time you may receive a newsletter or survey from us. It may contain
genealogy research information, resources, new services or events. Surveys are to
help with expanding our features to better serve our subscribers. You can opt out
of the mailings by unsubscribing to our newsletters or surveys.
